The exhibition ‘Art Donor’ celebrates the 150th Anniversary of the Western General Hospital and can now be seen in the Anne Ferguson Gallery (formerly the LINK Gallery).
These oil paintings, watercolours, collages, and original prints are just some of the art works donated to the hospital over the years. They are part of the Edinburgh & Lothians Health Foundation Art Collection and have been donated by ex-patients, relatives, and artists, as an expression of appreciation for the very special work of the hospital and its staff. Donated art works have also been kindly loaned by Maggie’s Edinburgh.
Special thanks go to all those who have donated art works, the WGH 150th Anniversary Group, Edinburgh & Lothians Health Foundation Art Collection, WGH Estates and all those who have assisted with the exhibition, WGH Maggie’s Edinburgh, and Lothian Health Services Archive.
